Oaklands Park

Park & Garden, Chichester

Oaklands Park is a green space on the eastern side of Chichester, adjacent to the Festival Theatre and the University of Chichester's Bishop Otter campus. The park includes playing fields, mature trees, and open grassland. It provides a recreational space for residents of the Parklands area and is well used by dog walkers and joggers. The Festival Theatre's prominent hexagonal profile is visible from much of the park. The park connects to the wider network of green spaces and paths on the eastern side of the city. During the Festival Theatre season, the park's car parks serve theatregoers. The park is flat and accessible, with surfaced paths running through the main sections.
